Institutional Distinctiveness The college campus stands at the vintage
point of South 24 Pgs. Kolkata. The students are benefitted due to this
locational distinctiveness as it is situated on national highway on Diamond
Harbour road which provides locational advantage to the institution. A very
popular college for womens education in South Kolkata. It is well connected
WITHIN 5-7 KMS range to nearby multi-speciality hospitals ( Vidyasagar Govt.
Gen Hospital, ESI Joka, CMRI and others) , National Library, State Museum,
South Eastern Railway Indoor Stadium Missionary Playground , IIM Joka and also
Jadavpur University. The primary vision of the college is to cater to womens
education and empowerment. So when the students join our campus due to its
locational advantage they are highly benefitted not only in their education but
also they develop a larger than life outlook about self, society and job
market. Moreover this locational advantage has rendered the campus a favorite
spot to conduct various competitive exams by Central or State Government.
Various competitive exams both Central and State Government oriented jobs are
conducted in the college premises. The students can easily locate the campus as
it is situated on the national highway. With the well – efficient staffs the
college is able to provide this service to the country. Expansion of Higher
Education among the girls coming from financially weaker section of the society
is one of the important visions of the college. The Annual Academic performance
