Cultural Achievements
- Supriti Chakraborty, Bengali Honours,2nd year, ranked second in a recitation competition organized by Barisha Pathagar to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary.
- Averi Das Geography Honours, 2nd year, ranked second in a music competition organized by Barisha Pathagar to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary
- Department of Political Science participated in District level youth parliament competition held on 22-2-2012, under the department of parliamentary affairs Government of West Bengal, and won the following prizes :Moumita Das(best Speaker),
- Mampi Sinha (best Secretary), Barshali Chatterjee (best Opposition Leader), Rakhi Chakraborty (best Chief Minister), Pryanka Das(best Marshal).
- Noopur Tiwari, Department of Education, 2nd year presented paper on “Swamiji’s View on Education” in UGC sponsored National Seminar on “Teachings and Ideas of Swami Vivekananda”.

- Mousuli Roy Chowdhuri, Department of Bengali, 3rd year presented paper on “¢nri¡he¡u Acmhcm : lh£¾cÊe¡b BSLl” in Jadavpur University.
- Priyanka Gongopadhyay, Department of English, presented Paper on “Role of Tagore in the contemporary Education System”, in Jadavpur University.
