Rain Water Harvesting
Falling of ground water level is an acute problem in urban areas being faced by environmentalists. Therefore in cities to maintain the ground water level they suggest to use more rain water to maintain the balance in the environment. West Bengal receives a quite good amount of rainfall and we have built an underground tank of 20,000 ltr. capacity to hold the water rushing over the roof. This water is being processed so that the suspended loads and other impurities can be checked and then pumped to an overhead tank and then supplied to the toilets.
